GOLDEN APPLE AWARDS!

My wonderful dance student, Taylor Lewis, nominated me for a Golden Apple Award! This was a very prestigious award, given to those who are an inspiration, uplift, and enrich the life of others. I am so honored to have been nominated and have made such an impact on her life.

I asked Taylor for a copy of the speech she wrote and read at the ceremony:

"My name is Taylor Lewis and I nominated Miss Brittany Bentley for a Golden Apple Award because she has always encouraged me to do my best in everything I do and pushes me to reach my full potential. She is a great role model, and I learn new things from her everyday. She is always truthful and she always has a smiling face. Brittany knows my strengths and weaknesses and tries to make me a better dancer and more importantly a better person inside..... MISS BRITTANY, PLEASE ACCEPT YOUR GOLDEN APPLE AWARD!!"

Love her and I am blessed to be her teacher, friend, and role model. Thank you Taylor!

Update

My dance students competed again this past weekend, and I am so proud of them! They all scored very well along with receiving judge's awards, and category/overall high point.

I have been auditioning for shows the past couple of weeks and signed with Gar Lester Agency.

Overall, staying my busy self and enjoying the ride of life.

Love to all,

2010...the first two months

2010 is off to a great start!

Had a call-back for Bring It On:The Musical, been on a few auditions so far this pilot season, and my dance students just competed in their first competition of the year!

At the end of 2009, I was cast in and filmed a short film titled VAMPS. My character was Amelia- the sweet, young, naive Vamp who is still learning and wants to be a different identity from her older sister.
